Admirate AS is a Norwegian company ("we", "us", "our") that provides an AI-powered growth marketing platform, including AI Skills, training content, and related services through admirate.app (the "Service").

2. Information we collect
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you sign up via a third-party provider (e.g., Google), we receive your name and email from that provider.
Billing data: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number. We retain transaction IDs, plan details, and billing contact information.
Usage data: We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, Skills activated, and session duration. This helps us improve the product.
Device and log data: We automatically collect IP addresses, browser type, operating system, and referring URLs when you access the Service.
Cookies and tracking: We use essential cookies for authentication and session management, and optional analytics cookies to understand usage patterns. You can manage cookie preferences at any time.
3. How we use your information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Process transactions and manage your subscription
- Send transactional emails (account confirmations, billing receipts, security alerts)
- Send marketing communications (only with your consent; you can opt out at any time)
- Analyze usage patterns to improve product features and user experience
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we process your data on the following bases:
- Contract: Processing necessary to provide the Service you signed up for
- Legitimate interest: Analytics and product improvement, fraud prevention, and security
- Consent: Marketing communications and optional analytics cookies
- Legal obligation: Compliance with applicable laws and regulations
5. Data sharing and third parties
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate the Service:
- Stripe for payment processing
- Railway for hosting infrastructure
- Cloudflare for DNS, CDN, and security
- Analytics providers for anonymized usage insights
All third-party providers are bound by data processing agreements and are required to handle your data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
6. Data retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records).
Anonymized and aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics and product improvement.
7. Your rights
Under GDPR and Norwegian data protection law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erase your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict processing in certain circumstances
- Port your data to another service
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Withdraw consent at any time for consent-based processing

8. Data security

9. International transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the EEA. When this happens, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or adequacy decisions by the European Commission.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
